    Saratoga Center for the Family announced the addition of two members to its board of directors: Jennifer Jeram, principal law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Muller, Justice of the Supreme Court for the Fourth Judicial District; and Michael Patton, superintendent of the Saratoga Springs City School District.


    Tara Anne Pleat, of Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC, was elected as chair of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the New York State Bar Association.

     

    The Greater Capital Association of Realtors recently installed its 2019 board of directors: president, Jason Christiana, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Blake, Realtors; president-elect, Tom McGroder, Thomas J.       The Public Relations Society of America's Capital Region NY chapter recently named new board members and officers: president, Michael Mullaney, manager of public relations and digital communications at St. Peters Health Partners; past president and chair of the membership committee, Heather Schechter, director of marketing at Sunrise Management & Consulting; president-elect, Katherine McCarthy, senior regional director of communications at the American Heart Association; treasurer, Michael Bohne, communications & marketing assistant at Capitalize Albany Corporation; secretary and webmaster, Kimmy Venter, regional director of communications at the American Red Cross; ethics chair, Josh Poupore, senior vice president at Corning Place Communications; assembly delegate, Paul Larrabee, vice president and managing director at Corning Place Communications; member at large, Nick Crounse, director of strategic communications at Bestpass; and member at large, Michael Eck, senior communications and public relations leader at Proctors.     Thomas Kernan, vice president of strategic planning and general counsel at Stat Staff Professionals, was recently appointed chairman of the American Staffing Association health care section council. ASA is the professional trade association of the $161-billion U.S. staffing, recruiting and workforce solutions industry.

    Beth E. Carey, a partner at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, was appointed president of the Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region Board of Directors. Carey has served on the board since 2008.

    Frances Spreer Albert, CPA, executive vice president, CFO and COO at Albany Medical Center, was appointed to the Bank of Greene County's Advisory Board.
