Networking is invaluable for making contact with current and prospective clients. These events are held at different venues and time frames throughout the year. Monthly mixers, held the second Thursday of each month include breakfast, lunch or evening mixers. Connections are made during business education seminars, new member orientations, the Fall Business Showcase and Committee participation.
Advertising
Publications include the Annual Membership Directory, Chamber of Southern Saratoga map, Southern Saratoga Magazine, Member in the News, and Chamber quarterly newsletters. Multiple advertising opportunities exist on the Chamber's website. Brochure and business card placement in the Chamber Information Resource Center is encouraged for all members at no cost.
Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings
Ceremonies for new business openings, expansions and anniversaries are provided to Chamber members. The Chamber provides the ribbon, scissors, and take photos that are published in the Newsletter, the Chamber's website and social media outlets.
Business Referral Service
For members only, direct referrals are provided from staff via in-person, phone, e-mail and social media. Member to member referrals promotes local prosperity.
Social Networking
The Chamber actively promotes business growth and Chamber programming in our region utilizing Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, Bizkin and goTown.

Designed as industry specific networking forums for members; leads group meetings are held bi-weekly to promote business and exchange business referrals. The Chamber has also partnered with Bizkin to offer members an online referral club providing leads from up to 235 non-competing businesses.
Sponsorship
High visibility opportunities at major Chamber events such as the Annual Spring Golf Classic, the Annual Awards Dinner, Fall Business Showcase, Monthly Networking Mixers, Women in Business events, the Start-Up Smart Series and professional development seminars.
Consumers and businesses who seek goods and services online can access the Chamber Directory and gain information on your business and a direct link to your website.

Employee Benefits Packages
The Chamber partners with Bouchey and Clark Benefits, Inc. to offer a wide range of health plan options. The
Bright Choices Insurance Program includes health, dental, long-term care insurance, and disability including products available to sole proprietors.
This philanthropic program is the charitable arm (501)C3 of the Chamber. This holiday program is entering the 23rd year of providing assistance to less fortunate children in Saratoga County during the holiday season.
Member to Member Discounts
Members are offered significant discounts on services including goTown, Bizkin, Constant Contact, and the Northway Exit 9 Rest Area Brochure Display.
The Chamber sponsors this member benefit program. Members in Clifton Park, Halfmoon, Stillwater, Mechanicville and Waterford can cut their electricity and natural gas costs through the purchasing power of a large group.
Any American Veteran who has started a new business in the past year is eligible for this program that combines business education and connections with new clients and customers.
Members can rent space at the Chamber offices for meetings, seminars, and other business events for a nominal cost.
Certificates of Origin
Documentation for international shipments is provided to members at no cost.
Tax Deductibility
Membership in the Chamber is 95% deductible as a necessary business expense.

Professional Development
Members are encouraged to collaborate with the business community and provide skills and expertise on one of the following committees: Ambassador, Economic & Government Affairs, Education & Business Partnership, Event Planning, Marketing, Membership, Retail & Hospitality. Small Business Resources, and Women in Business.
The Chamber hosts this 22-month program in our Executive Education Center. A scholarship program is also offered to members who are incoming or current students based on academic merit and financial need
Pro Bono Business Counseling
The Chamber partners with the Small Business Development Center, University at Albany and SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Businesses to provide individual business counseling to our members at no cost.
The Chamber works with experts to provide a seven week Start-Up Smart seminar program to those seeking to start their own business. Small Business Resources and Women in Business Committees offers monthly seminars on business topics including human resources, legal, marketing, technology, finances, social media and customer service. All seminars are presented by Chamber members or partners.
The Saratoga County Executive Institute
A multi-week program of distinction that provides business executives and senior management leaders a unique and up-close perspective into some of the region's finest companies, institutions and hallmarks of tourism.

Government Advocacy
The Chamber is your voice in local, county, and state government, addressing issues that directly impact your business and lobbying on your behalf.
The Chamber represents their members in this volunteer-based, not-for-profit collaboration dedicated to providing education and networking opportunities for expanding international trade in New York's Tech Valley.
